جهت ارزیابی تحمل به خشکی  در یک جمعیت نوترکیب برنج و بررسی ارتباط برخی صفات مهم با نشانگرهای ریزماهواره، تعداد 40 لاین F7 حاصل از تلاقی رقم محلی غریب و رقم اصلاح شده سپیدرود در دو محیط بدون تنش (غرقاب) و تنش خشکی درسال زراعی1397 در موسسه تحقیقات برنج کشور مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. نتایج حاصل از ارزیابی فنوتیپی ارقام و لاین­ های مورد مطالعه نشان داد که تمامی ژنوتیپ­ها، علاوه بر کاهش رشد تحت شرایط تنش خشکی، دارای تنوع بوده و در برابر خشکی واکنش­های متفاوتی نشان دادند. نتایج تجزیه خوشه ­ای صفات مورفولوژیک نشان داد که تحت تنش­ خشکی، لاین­های L27، L38، L29، L40 و L39 با کمترین درصد کاهش صفات، بیشترین مقدار عملکرد دانه، و زودرس‌تر بودن به عنوان متحمل­ترین ژنوتیپ­ها شناسایی شدند. بعد از آن‌ها لاین‌های L9، L17، L21، L26، L30، L12، L19، L23، L25، والد سپیدرود، شاهد خزر و هاشمی بیشترین عملکرد را تحت شرایط تنش خشکی داشتند. نتایج تجزیه رگرسیونی نشان داد که 13 عدد از 24 نشانگر ریزماهواره مورد مطالعه شامل RM11943، RM431، RM12091، RM416، RM236، RM16030، RM555، RM211، RM423، RM12146، RM520، RM12023 و RM233A با بیش از یک صفت مورفولوژیک مرتبط با تحمل به خشکی در ارتباط بودند و بنابراین می­توان از این نشانگر­ها در برنامه ­های مختلف اصلاح برنج به­ منظور غربال و انتخاب ارقام و لاین‌های متحمل به خشکی در مناطق تحت این تنش محیطی استفاده کرد.
