     عنصر سلنیوم نقش حفاظتی و تاثیر مثبتی روی خصوصیات کمی و کیفی گیاهان دارد. به­ منظور بررسی تاثیر محلول ­پاشی سلنیوم بر محتوای پرولین برگ و برخی خصوصیات کمی و کیفی ارقام کلزا در شرایط تنش دمایی آخر فصل، آزمایشی به­ صورت فاکتوریل اسپلیت پلات در قالب طرح بلوک­ های کامل تصادفی با سه تکرار به ­مدت دو سال زراعی (94-1393 و 95-1394) در کرج اجرا گردید. در این آزمایش عامل اول تاریخ کاشت، عامل دوم سلنیوم و عامل سوم ژنوتیپ بود که عامل اول و دوم به ­صورت فاکتوریل در کرت ­های اصلی و عامل سوم به­ صورت اسپلیت پلات در کرت­ های فرعی قرار گرفتند. نتایج نشان داد صفات کمی و کیفی کلزا در این آزمایش تحت ­تأثیر تاریخ کاشت قرار گرفت. تاخیر در کاشت باعث کاهش بقای زمستانه، عملکرد بیولوژیکی، عملکرد دانه، قطر طوقه، محتوای نسبی آب برگ ژنوتیپ ­های کلزا گردید. از طرف دیگر تاخیر در کاشت باعث افزایش نسبی آب طوقه در مرحله روزت و پرولین برگ در مرحله روزت ژنوتیپ­ های کلزا گردید اما بر روی شاخص برداشت ژنوتیپ ­ها تاثیر
معنی ­داری نداشت. محلول ­پاشی سلنیوم باعث بهبود بقای زمستانه، عملکرد بیولوژیکی، عملکرد دانه، قطر طوقه و محتوای نسبی آب برگ ژنوتیپ­ های کلزا گشت. همچنین محلول ­پاشی سلنیوم میزان پرولین برگ در مرحله روزت را به ­طور معنی ­داری کاهش داد که عامل مهمی در تحمل ژنوتیپ­ ها به شرایط کشت تاخیری و تنش گرمای آخر فصل داشت. از نظر بقای زمستانه، عملکرد دانه و عملکرد بیولوژیکی، لاین
L72 در بین ژنوتیپ ­های مورد بررسی بهترین پاسخ را به این صفات در کشت به ­هنگام نشان داد اما در شرایط کشت تاخیری رقم Opera بهتر از بقیه ژنوتیپ ­ها بود، اگرچه با لاین L72 تفاوت معنی­ داری نداشت.
