In order to study the effects of salt stress on yield and yield components, 21 rice genotypes, in a factorial experiment were conducted based on Randomized Complete Block Design with 3 replicates on pots in greenhouse at Sari Agricultural Science and Natural Resources, during 2009. Salt stress was applied on reproductive stage in rice at 3 levels 0, 6 and 10 ds m-1 NaCl. Results showed that there were significant differences between rice genotypes for all measured traits. Shastak mohammadi and Tarom-Danesh in 6 ds m-1 NaCl and Hassani in 10 ds m-1 NaCl showed lowest reduction in grain yield in comparison with normal condition. Thus tolerant cultivars, in this experiment. Salinity increased sterility in rice genotypes. Significant correlation was observed between grain yield and number of panicle per plant in 6 and 10 ds m-1 NaCl. Finally, Shastak mohammadi, Hassani, Tarom-Danesh, Line 109 and Line 75 were the highest tolerant cultivar in response to salinity.
