شوری یکی از مهم­ترین عوامل محدود کننده رشد و تولید گیاهـان در سراسر دنیاست. شناسایی ارقام متحمل به شوری و بهبود تحمل گیاهان، یکی از راه­های بهبود عملکرد است. به­ منظور ارزیابی تحمل به شوری برخی از ژنوتیپ‌های کلزا و تعیین روابط بین صفات زراعی و بیوشیمیایی کلزا و گروه­بندی ژنوتیپ­های کلزا در شرایط شوری، آزمایشی بصورت فاکتوریل بر پایه طرح بلوک­های کامل تصادفی در دانشگاه علوم کشاورزی و منابع طبیعی ساری با سه تکرار انجام شد. تیمارها شامل: 30 ژنوتیپ کلزا و شوری در دو سطح (صفر و 12 دسی زیمنس بر متر) بود. ارتفاع بوته، تعداد شاخه در هر بوته، تعداد کپسول در بوته، طول کپسول، تعداد دانه در کپسول، وزن هزار دانه، وزن خشک اندام هوایی گیاه، میزان گوگرد برگ و دانه، نسبت سدیم/پتاسیم، محتوای کلروفیل a و b، محتوای کارتنوئید، درصد­روغن، درصد پروتئین، عملکرد بیولوژیکی، شاخص برداشت و عملکرد دانه در هر بوته ارزیابی شدند. ژنوتیپ­ها در هردو شرایط نرمال و تنش شوری از نظر کلیه صفات اختلاف معنی­ داری نشان دادند. اثر شوری و اثر متقابل ژنوتیپ و شوری نیز برای اکثر صفات مورد بررسی معنی­دار بود. تجزیه خوشه ­ای به روش وارد، 30 ژنوتیپ را در هردو شرایط نرمال و تنش شوری در سه گروه مجزا دسته ­بندی نمود. نتایج مقایسه میانگین گروه ­ها نشان داد که در شرایط شوری ژنوتیپ­های (28،26،27،5، 2 و 24)، کمترین و ژنوتیپ­های (3،22،3،6،7،16،20،21و 30) بیشترین میزان صفات، عملکرد، شاخص برداشت، طول کپسول، تعداد دانه در کپسول و وزن هزار دانه را نشان دادند. در نتیجه ژنوتیپ­های گروه اول به ­عنوان حساس و ژنوتیپ های گروه دوم به ­عنوان متحمل معرفی می­شوند. نتایج حاصل از تجزیه به عامل­ها و رسم بای ­پلات ها نیز همخوانی نسبتاً زیادی با گروه ­بندی حاصل از تجزیه خوشه ­ای داشت. از ژنوتیپ­های متحمل برای پروژه های اصلاحی آتیمی­توان استفاده کرد.
