     به منظور مطالعه اثر خشکی و تعیین صفات مؤثر بر عملکرد دانه و برآورد پارامترهایی ژنتیکی در شرایط آبیاری نرمال و تنش خشکی، 18 لاین ‌موتانت برنج به صورت دو آزمایش جداگانه در قالب طرح بلوک‌های کامل تصادفی با 3 تکرار در سال زراعی 94-1393 در مؤسسه تحقیقات برنج کشور در رشت مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. وراثت‌پذیری، پیشرفت ژنتیکی و واریانس ژنتیکی بالا برای صفات ارتفاع بوته، تعداد پنجه بارور، تعداد دانه پر و تعداد دانه پوک در هر دو شرایط و درصد باروری و عملکرد دانه در شرایط تنش خشکی مشاهده شد. این نشان‌می‌دهد که صفات فوق توسط ژن‌های افزایشی کنترل می‌شوند و می‌توان آنها را در برنامه‌های اصلاحی از طریق گزینش بهبود داد. عملکرد دانه در شرایط آبیاری نرمال با تعداد پنجه بارور، طول خروج خوشه، درصد باروری و طول و عرض دانه و در شرایط تنش خشکی با عرض برگ پرچم، طول خروج خوشه از غلاف، تعداد دانه پر، درصد باروری و طول و عرض دانه همبستگی مثبت داشت. نتایج تجزیه رگرسیون و تجزیه علیت تأثیر مثبت عرض دانه، درصد باروری دانه، عرض برگ پرچم، تعداد دانه پر در خوشه، تعداد پنجه و طول میانگره در شرایط آبیاری نرمال و درصد باروری دانه، عرض دانه و تعداد پنجه در شرایط تنش خشکی را بر روی عملکرد دانه نشان دادند. بنابراین امکان بهبود عملکرد دانه با استفاده از این متغیرها وجود دارد. در شرایط تنش خشکی، ژنوتیپ‌های شماره 1، 2،  3 و 4  دارای بیشترین میزان عملکرد دانه (به‌ترتیب با مقادیر برابر با 2788، 2163، 2178 و 2194 کیلوگرم در هکتار) و صفات تأثیرگذار بر آن بودند. با توجه به شاخص تنش، ژنوتیپ‌های فوق متحمل به خشکی بودند و می‌توانند برای معرفی ارقام متحمل به خشکی استفاده شوند.
